Thank you to my Mum for loving me no matter what. For supporting me, teaching me, and showing me God's love.
Thank you to my darling Ada for making me a mum. For teaching me patience and how to enjoy the little things in life. For loving me no matter what... and for teaching me what unconditional love really is.
Thank you to the little baby that's growing inside of me. For reminding me to enjoy you while you're all mine.
Happy Mother's Day!
So I'm in the mood for a little decorating... so I thought I might share a little inspiration board with y'all.
Up until this point, I haven't been particularly 'brave' with my colour ideas, for multiple reasons somewhere in between my preference for neutrals and my complete lack of decorating budget ;-)
Now pink is not normally on my agenda, nor is a 'mod/retro' interior... but I think the winds are a-changing! Keep in mind my floors are a fairly dark polished wood and my walls cream/beige (with white trim). And though I'd love to swap them out for some natural/latte fabric couches, for now we've got dark brown leather.
What do you think?
A much anticipated baby girl was born yesterday :)
To little Ruby, with love xo
Ruby's shoes feature a hand-cut and beaded bloom, floral lining and faux leather sole.
The linen straps close with soft, yet strong velcro (great for baby's shoes as it won't scratch their scrumptious soft skin!).
I hope you're having a lovely Wednesday. One more picture to finish...
I hope you are having a lovely 2011 so far - can you believe that January is almost over already? Must put on my running shoes to keep up (at least they'd be used that way!) ;)
I am wanting to get back on the blogging band wagon - not that I'm sure I was ever properly on it. 2011 will see some exciting moments for us. Namely, a little brother/sister for Ada due in July. This has meant that for the past nearly four months I have not been doing a thing re. making shoes etc... slack I know.
Anyhow, on to the point of this post! Today we attended a baby shower for a mummy to be named Anna. She's having a girl so of course I decided to make her a little pair of shoes!
Here are the 'Anna' shoes:
They feature a fun geometric print and hand torn chiffon bows. Faux leather soles (suitable for walkers) and organic cotton lining. They are available to order.
... to be jolly!
Thought I'd leave you with a few pretty pictures this morning. I've been so absent and I'm terribly sorry. There are reasons for this, but we don't need the nitty gritty! Hope you are enjoying your Christmas season! x
Today I wanted to introduce you to our with love
Breese Ruffle Jacket
The Breese (pronounced like Reese with a B on the front) Ruffle Jacket is designed to have just the right amount of ruffle detail... and even better, it's season-less. Perfect for over a dress in the summer or with jeans and boots in winter. Fine corduroy exterior and lined with unbleached cotton.
Available in sizes 12 months - 5 years, and Made to Order from the with love etsy store. Otherwise you can email me at kimmy@withloveblog.com. :)
In other news, I am working on setting up the Etsy store. I'm not at home at the moment, and don't get back for another week. But once I am, it should be much easier to get things going! Here's the link.... but its very boring and uneventful at the moment.
Hope you have a lovely weekend! x
... to eat some of these (with coffee of course!)
.... to hunt down some vintage supplies
... and to actually see some progress on setting up with love etsy store.
Anyone out there even listening?
Happy Monday!
