I'm so in love...

... with both of them.

------ Ada's 1st Birthday Party! ------

On the 9th of July, our little Ada turned One!

I can't believe it was a year ago I was meeting my baby for the first time! Love you Miss Ada!

Here are a few shots from her little party with family. xx

Sorry about the blur - I was in a bit of a rush!

Ada loves her Daddy soooo much!!

The little flowers on the cupcakes I made from white icing (just the dough-like pre-made stuff! :D)
I sectioned it, and food coloured it. Then rolled it out and cut out flower shapes with a small scone cutter!

Cake anyone?

---------- Happy Wednesday ----------

Hello out there! Hope you're having a lovely day.

Here's a little preview of something I've been working on....

More to come!

Happy Wednesday! x

---------- Tuesday's Prayer ----------

Hello Tuesday.
Today I want to trust God... but sometimes it's really hard! (Or is that just me?!)

I'm feeling a bit strung out lately - hubby is short of work and things don't seem to be going to plan. I know, I really should have a nice big slice of humble pie for dinner. After all, my plan isn't THE plan....

Thank you for looking after me today and everyday God!

---------- Kaidee's Shoes ----------

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, friends of ours had a beautiful baby girl - Kaidence Hope Stewart. We were lucky enough to go and meet this little darling last night - and this is what we took along:

At only 9cm long, they are the smallest thing I've ever made! They close with a snap and have a fabric sole. I would love to try making some shoes for 'walkers' but have no idea where to look for shoe rubber.... If you have any ideas, feel free to enlighten me :)

On the whole, I think I'm fairly happy with them...

Hope you're having a lovely Wednesday!

---------- Bunting/Garland Tutorial ----------

So.... in between changing nappies, reading stories and cuddling with my little girl - I am trying to continue organising things for her 1st birthday. One specific 'present' I wanted to get done for her is to properly finish her room (yeh yeh I know - she's nearly one! Get a move on girl!).

That's where this little beauty comes in :D I feel that it's a softer, girly take on the original triangular bunting.... But if you wanted, it'd be easy to convert it back! I made it to hang in Ada's bedroom but it will also form part of the 'decor' for her little party...

Tutorial by Sweet Jessie, but you can find it posted here on Sew Mama Sew!

Enjoy this sunny day xx
