---------- This and That ----------

Hello there :) We've had a very busy, long weekend - and with the help of family, this is what we've been up to... (insert evil laugh here)....

Ok, so obviously it isn't finished yet but thanks to our run of long weekends around this time of year, we will hopefully be getting the outdoor area done this next weekend! And i know what you're thinking - and I'm thinking it too... I can't wait for that blue on the house to go!!

On another note - big plans for the kitchen coming up so stay tuned!

Welcome to our home! I'm Kimmy and on the left there is my 'Mr Right', Ben. We are also mummy and daddy to miss Ada Findlay. When we got married some 2.5 years ago we never could have imagined that life would turn out the way it has. Young marrieds, young 'home-owners' and young parents! I've started this blog because, for me, making our home is a process of discovery, and there's excitement in not knowing what you'll reveal about yourself from one day to the next!

We like to call our fixer upper 'Our little Cottage that Could'... You see, I kind of always viewed our home as a fairly temporary dwelling... a way to get "into the market" - and once our couple of years are up, that we'd sell and move on....

But what I've realised is that i want to enjoy every moment we live here - I'd love to make this little cottage everything that it can be!

So right now, we're in the process of making a home that inspires our creativity and reminds us to make every one of our days count! home.made is about making, about sewing, about discovering more about ourselves and MOST importantly, about being totally - head over heels - in love with our family and our home.
