---------- Kaidee's Shoes ----------

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, friends of ours had a beautiful baby girl - Kaidence Hope Stewart. We were lucky enough to go and meet this little darling last night - and this is what we took along:

At only 9cm long, they are the smallest thing I've ever made! They close with a snap and have a fabric sole. I would love to try making some shoes for 'walkers' but have no idea where to look for shoe rubber.... If you have any ideas, feel free to enlighten me :)

On the whole, I think I'm fairly happy with them...

Hope you're having a lovely Wednesday!

---------- Bunting/Garland Tutorial ----------

So.... in between changing nappies, reading stories and cuddling with my little girl - I am trying to continue organising things for her 1st birthday. One specific 'present' I wanted to get done for her is to properly finish her room (yeh yeh I know - she's nearly one! Get a move on girl!).

That's where this little beauty comes in :D I feel that it's a softer, girly take on the original triangular bunting.... But if you wanted, it'd be easy to convert it back! I made it to hang in Ada's bedroom but it will also form part of the 'decor' for her little party...

Tutorial by Sweet Jessie, but you can find it posted here on Sew Mama Sew!

Enjoy this sunny day xx

---------- Teaser! ----------

So tonight I've been working on something.... and I really hope you like it.

If you do, there might just be a giveaway and maybe even some to purchase!

It starts with 'DR'... and ends with 'ESS'

AND it may or may not have RUFFLES. Anyone out there excited?

Stay tuned....

------- 'Flannies' & a really cute baby! -------

It's true, I know. I am a terrible blogger. But here is why....

Isn't she so sweet? I simply adore her.
I'm trying to think of this 'teething time' as more cuddles for me... unfortunately this really isn't the case. She doesn't know what she wants - which means, no naps, not much food.... ahhh the poor little girl. Mummy's not getting much done, hence the void of posts or projects.

Well it's June, and officially winter. We've got the flannelette sheets on and I'm super excited - this is the first time I've ever had flannelette sheets and the verdict.... I love them! Does not make for easy getting up however....

I've also been baking.... alot. Not 'wow this is amazing' type baking, just baking you like to stuff your face with because it's winter and you can! Actually... my hubby started a new job about a month ago and I've wanted to send him off every morning with yummies in his 'lunch box' :D

Normally, I love winter... but this year, I'm feeling slow. Remedies anyone? Anyhow, this is just a short post... wanted to let you know that nothing has happened to me..... ;)
Hope you're having a great Thursday! Bye for now! xx
