---------- Kaidee's Shoes ----------

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, friends of ours had a beautiful baby girl - Kaidence Hope Stewart. We were lucky enough to go and meet this little darling last night - and this is what we took along:

At only 9cm long, they are the smallest thing I've ever made! They close with a snap and have a fabric sole. I would love to try making some shoes for 'walkers' but have no idea where to look for shoe rubber.... If you have any ideas, feel free to enlighten me :)

On the whole, I think I'm fairly happy with them...

Hope you're having a lovely Wednesday!

Kim - they are absolutely gorgeous!! i am thinking of getting some dresses/skirts made for the girls - would you be interested? let me know. thanks, hannah

I bet Shaya loved them!! They will look cute on Miss Kadiee!

Hey ... was just thinking the other day about that 'shoe rubber' dilemma. Wondering if you could possibly use the plastic from a cheap placemat from the $2 shop? Or something made for the bathroom? Sometimes you can find 'fabric' in the oddest places! I found some peach and yellow coloured vinyl at the op shop yesterday for $2 -- I'm thinking they could make cute change mats!

So now that I have seen these little beauties...I too am wondering how did you sew something sooo tiny! Very cute Kim!!
